France’s late win over Wales meant they were crowned 2006 Six Nations Champions when Ireland failed to beat England by enough points.

Despite a lack of quality rugby, the 2006 Six Nations was widely regarded as an excellent tournament due to the closeness and excitement of a lot of the matches played.
